MY INSPIRATION

The main thing that inspires me to try to create very unique items is my wife , she is one of those who does not care for the same old ,same old she looks for the different (somewhat odd) things in life (some say thats why she married me).She checks out every piece and lets me know if it meets the unusual criteria, she also helps in the design process of some items along with building whimsical birdhouses and other what-nots.(she is a very talented oil painter also). Another thing is that building furniture is like lifes travels, you can build the same thing the same way and make it in life, but you can add something different and have a very unique life. So add some thing different to your life and enjoy the out come.

Pine Slab benches and Natural pine Slab Benches.

This Blanket Trunk is made with Pine.

As you can see the top of the Box is a slab from the Trunk of the Pine Tree. This is a very heavy and unique piece to add to any home.

This is a Close Up view of the Beautiful out come you have with the 100+ year old Heart Pine. This wood came from an Old Mill that was torn down. No 2 pieces of wood are the same in character.

Pine Slab Table Top with Mountain Laurel Legs.

This Beautiful Mountain Laurel/Poplar slab chair will be a beautiful addition to any decor. This chair will end up as part of a dinnette set w/5 other chairs. two will be highback arm chairs & 4 will be shortback no arms.

Each chair depending on Mountain Laurel will have its own unique character.

The Beautiful Coffee Table is made with 100+ Year Old Heart and is stained with Pine Legs.

This Kinlin Box is made with Pine and has been Burnt instead of stained for the natural age affect. The side have been trimmed with Mountain Laurel and Poly. A Moose has been added for decor. We do offer Bears as well.

This beautiful Bench is made with Natural Trees of different sizes for Back/Arms and Legs. The seat is a slab of pine with rounded bottom. No stain just Poly.

Note all slabs are sawed different and will have different shapes and markings depending on the tree trunk.

This Beautiful Trinket/Jewerly Box is made with Heart Pine and Blood wood inserts, with a beautiful glass insert. Colors will differ with glass upon availability.

This entertainment center is made with 100 + year old Heart Pine. The Top is regular pine and the doors are Heart Pine with Legs in Mountain Laurel.

These tables are made with beautiful Mountain Laurel Legs -Western Red Cedar Top.

This Corner Unit is shown Natural and the Old Age Burnt affect. No 2 pieces will ever be the same, and depending on the texture of wood will depend on the end piece.

This table is made of Mountain Laurel for Legs and Pine for Top and Bottom. The legs are natural with Poly coat and the Table top and bottom is lightly stained.
